Another perfect day in Batemans Bay. We met Wallace and five of his mates from Canberra, early in the morning, at the marina. We fished east of the Bay in 22 degree water, and there was a lot of striped tuna and bonito about. About midday we came accross a pod of whales and dolphins, where the long corner bibless minnow was inhaled by a nice 30KG Yelllowfin tuna. The boys were pretty happy with that.
There were a couple of marlin lost over the weekend by other boats.
With the warmer water pushing down the coast we are expecting the fishing to improve over the coming weeks
